These long days will give you more time for one-day explorations of our coastline and the intertidal space of the River Anllóns Estuary.
Shade and a place to recharge your batteries are offered by the recreational areas located near the beaches through which the Camiño da Ribeira route (PR-G 148) passes: Balarés, A Ermida or the most refreshing hidden spots of O Osmo and A Arnela.
Another option is to take a dip in the pool created by the sea as it enters Niñóns beach, which is popularly known as "el lago" ("the lake"). There are also tables and benches on the route heading towards Cape Roncudo, right next to the cliffs.
The sun's heat will also invite you to take a swim in its turquoise waters and, when the cool of the evening falls, this may be the perfect time to walk along the Pondaliana Route in the footsteps of the poet and bard Eduardo Pondal.
As you come and go along the shore, you'll see fishermen taking advantage of the low tide to collect bait and of the high tide to do some bass fishing. And from one moment to the next, you'll be sure to wonder: where has all the water gone?
There's no doubt that the landscape changes from the tides will impress and delight you.
